Rank Group Reports 6% Revenue Growth for FY2025/26

Rank Group has published its financial results for the 2025/26 fiscal year, reporting a 6% increase in underlying like-for-like net gaming revenue. The London-listed operator recorded total net gaming revenue of £834.1m, supported by growth across its casino, bingo, and Spanish operations.

Underlying EBITDA rose 15% to £138.3m, and operating profit grew 21% to £78.6m. Statutory operating profit fell to £55.7m due to exceptional costs, including a £6.5m fraud loss in Spain and a £5m charge from the Gambling Commission. Grosvenor Casinos generated £397.3m in net gaming revenue, representing a 5% year-on-year increase, with operating profit rising 11% to £35.5m.

Sports betting is now available across all Grosvenor locations. The operator reported an 8% revenue increase for the start of the new financial year.

Divisional Updates and Regulatory Outlook

Mecca bingo venues saw net gaming revenue rise 4% to £143m, while profit jumped 107% to £8.9m following the removal of UK bingo duty. The division closed nine locations and forecasts £6.4m in profit for the next fiscal year. Enracha in Spain delivered a record £12m profit and a 7% revenue increase.

The group anticipates a decline in digital profitability resulting from the April rise in Remote Gaming Duty.

Chief Executive Officer Richard Harris expressed concern over proposals to raise Machine Games Duty, stating that such measures could force venue closures. He emphasized that the company paid over £225m in taxes and duties last year and aims to deliver at least £100m in underlying profit in the medium term.
